- Prepare Pancakes:
- In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, butter, and vanilla. Combine with dry ingredients. Add food coloring if desired.
- Heat a non-stick pan or griddle to medium heat. Lightly grease.
- Pour 1/4 cup batter per pancake. Cook 2–3 mins per side until golden. Decorate with sprinkles.
- Cook Bacon:
- Bake or fry the bacon until crispy. Set aside on paper towels.
- Shape the Fruit:
- Use star or tree cookie cutters to shape banana and strawberry pieces (optional but fun!).
- Make Hot Cocoa:
- In a saucepan, heat milk until warm (do not boil). Stir in cocoa, sugar, and vanilla. Whisk until smooth. Serve with marshmallows and whipped cream.
- Plate & Serve:
- Arrange pancakes, bacon, and fruit on a large platter. Serve hot cocoa on the side. Optional: Add a candy cane stir stick to the cocoa for an extra festive touch!
