Ingredients

  • Makes ~10-12 bombs
  • 1 –2 cans crescent roll or biscuit dough
  • 10 –12 large marshmallows
  • 10 –12 squares of chocolate milk, dark, or preferred type
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup cinnamon sugar optional
  • Vegetable or canola oil for frying

Equipment

  • Deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot
  • Slotted spoon or tongs
  • Mixing bowl
  • Rolling pin (optional)
  • Paper towels or cooling rack
  • Thermometer (recommended)

Method

  1. Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Flatten dough circles. Place a marshmallow and chocolate square in the center of each.
  3. Wrap and seal dough tightly around the filling to form a bomb. Pinch all seams securely.
  4. Fry 2–3 at a time for about 1–2 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  5. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  6. While still warm, roll in graham cracker crumbs or cinnamon sugar.
  7. Serve immediately while gooey and hot!

Notes

Make it healthier: Try air-frying at 350°F for 6–8 minutes.
Customize it: Swap chocolate with Nutella, peanut butter cups, or cookies & cream bars.
Prevent leaking: Freeze the chocolate first and ensure the dough is tightly sealed.
Best eaten fresh, but can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheated in the oven.
