  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh grated ginger or 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 –2 cups filtered warm or cold water
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey optional
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper optional

Method
 

  1. Instructions:
  2. Grate fresh ginger and squeeze lemon juice.
  3. In a glass or jar, combine apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, grated ginger, and water.
  4. Add honey and cayenne pepper if using.
  5. Stir or whisk well until fully combined.
  6. Drink immediately or chill in the refrigerator.

Notes:
Start with 1 teaspoon of ACV if you’re new to the drink.
Use a straw to protect your teeth from acidity.
Always dilute apple cider vinegar before consuming.
You can make a larger batch and store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
For a fizzy version, use sparkling water.
