- Instructions:
- Place the ground turkey in a large mixing bowl.
- Add grated onion, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Add the breadcrumbs and egg. Gently mix until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Form the mixture into 4 patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty.
- Chill patties on a baking sheet in the fridge for 15–30 minutes to help them hold their shape.
- Heat a grill or skillet to medium-high. Oil the grates or pan lightly.
- Cook the patties for about 5–6 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- During the last minute of cooking, place cheese on top if desired.
- Let rest for 3–5 minutes before serving on toasted buns with toppings of choice.
