Method

  9. Cool completely before decorating.

  13. Add vanilla and cream, whipping until fluffy (2–3 mins).
  14. Separate a small portion and tint it red for stitching.

  17. Apply a crumb coat (thin layer of frosting), then chill for 20 mins.
  18. Frost the cake with remaining white buttercream or cover in fondant.
