  • 2 tsp dried Brazilian Mounjaro herbal tea blend*
  • 1 tbsp dried butterfly pea flowers or 2 tbsp fresh
  • Juice of ½ lemon or lime
  • Optional: 1 tsp honey agave, or stevia
  • Optional garnish: mint leaves lemon slices, edible flowers
  • *If unavailable use a mix of mint, lemon peel, hibiscus, and fresh ginger.

  • Tea strainer or fine mesh sieve
  • Heatproof glass pitcher or serving glasses

Method
 

  1. Instructions:
  2. Boil the filtered water, then let it cool slightly to around 90°C (194°F).
  3. Add Mounjaro herbal blend to the teapot or French press and steep for 5–7 minutes.
  4. Strain the infusion into a heatproof glass container.
  5. Add butterfly pea flowers and steep for another 3–4 minutes until the color turns deep blue.
  6. Strain again, removing all petals.
  7. Add lemon or lime juice to trigger the color change (blue to purple).
  8. Sweeten to taste, if desired.
  9. Serve hot or chilled over ice with your favorite garnish.

Notes:
For a stronger flavor, steep herbs a bit longer (up to 10 minutes).
The tea will last up to 3 days refrigerated.
To highlight the color shift for guests, add lemon juice at the table.
Use coconut sugar or monk fruit for a keto-friendly version.
You can also blend in coconut milk for a creamy "butterfly latte."
