- Instructions:
- Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat until warm (do not boil).
- Add the chopped chocolate or cocoa powder and whisk to combine.
- Stir in sugar and vanilla extract, plus cinnamon if desired.
- Continue stirring until chocolate is fully melted and drink is smooth and creamy.
- Remove the cinnamon stick and pour into mugs.
- Top with whipped cream, marshmallows, or grated chocolate if you like, and serve hot.
