- Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- If desired, blend the cottage cheese until smooth for a uniform dough texture.
- In a large bowl, combine cottage cheese and self-rising flour. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each into a rope and connect the ends to form a bagel shape.
- Place shaped bagels onto the lined baking sheet.
- Brush each bagel with the beaten egg.
- Sprinkle toppings of your choice.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes:
To make gluten-free bagels, use a gluten-free flour blend and ensure the baking powder is gluten-free.
You can also air-fry these at 350°F for about 10–12 minutes.
Customize with sweet (cinnamon, raisins) or savory (garlic, cheese, herbs) mix-ins.
