- Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone mat.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- In a large bowl, combine warm sausage with softened cream cheese until smooth. Stir in any optional add-ins.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into individual triangles.
- Place a spoonful (about 1 tablespoon) of sausage filling on the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll each crescent from wide to narrow end, sealing edges to prevent leaks.
- (Optional) Brush with egg wash for a golden crust.
- Bake for 11–13 minutes, or until crescents are golden brown.
- Let cool slightly and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
