Method

  7. Fold in chocolate chips or chunks by hand using a spatula.
  8. Scoop dough into ¼ cup portions and place on baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  9. Flatten slightly with your palm. Chill for 30 minutes (optional but recommended).
  10. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft.
  11. Allow cookies to rest on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
