- Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mix until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flours, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
- Slowly add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Fold in chocolate chips or chunks by hand using a spatula.
- Scoop dough into ¼ cup portions and place on baking sheet, leaving space between each.
- Flatten slightly with your palm. Chill for 30 minutes (optional but recommended).
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft.
- Allow cookies to rest on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
