  • 2 cups water

Method

  2. Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan. Gently lower in the egg and simmer for 7 minutes for a soft-boiled yolk. Remove the egg, place it in cold water, peel, and set aside.
  3. In another saucepan, heat a splash of oil and quickly sauté the mushrooms until softened.
  4. Add 2 cups water to the saucepan with the mushrooms, bring to a boil, and add the ramen noodles. Cook according to package directions.
  5. Stir in the included ramen seasoning, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
  6. Ladle the ramen into a bowl. Top with sliced green onions, the peeled soft-boiled egg (cut in half), fresh herbs, and a drizzle of chili crisp if desired.
