- Egg McMuffin
- Lightly oil a skillet and heat on medium.
- Use a metal ring mold to crack and cook each egg into a round shape. Cook until set.
- In a separate skillet, lightly brown the Canadian bacon or sausage patty.
- Toast the English muffins.
- Assemble: muffin base, meat, egg, cheese, muffin top. Wrap in foil and let sit for 2 minutes to melt the cheese.
- Hash Browns
- Soak grated potatoes in cold water, then squeeze out moisture.
- Mix with cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
- Form into small patties and fry on both sides in hot oil until golden and crispy.
- Hotcakes
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and butter.
- Mix wet into dry ingredients. Do not overmix.
- Pour 1/4 cup batter onto a lightly oiled griddle. Cook until bubbles form, flip, and cook the other side.
- Serve with syrup and butter.
