  • 2 tsp sugar honey, or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • ¾ cup milk any kind: whole, oat, almond, etc.
  • 1 cup ice

Method
 

  1. Instructions:
  2. Brew the Tea:
  3. Boil ½ cup water and steep the chai tea bags (or loose-leaf) for about 5 minutes. Remove tea bags or strain the leaves.
  4. Sweeten:
  5. Stir in sweetener while the tea is still hot to dissolve completely.
  6. Cool It Down:
  7. Add a few tablespoons of cold water or let the tea cool slightly.
  8. Assemble the Drink:
  9. Fill a tall glass with ice, pour in the sweetened tea, then add the milk.
  10. Stir & Serve:
  11. Mix well and garnish with a cinnamon stick or star anise if desired.

Use chai concentrate for quicker preparation (adjust sweetener accordingly).
Spice level can be customized by adding ground cinnamon, nutmeg, or cardamom.
For a stronger brew, use double the tea bags or steep longer.
Swap milk for coconut or cashew milk for a creamier taste.
