- Instructions:
- Macerate the Strawberries:
- Add chopped strawberries and cane sugar to a small bowl. Mash lightly with a fork and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Prepare the Matcha:
- Sift matcha powder into a bowl. Add cold water. Whisk using a bamboo whisk or small regular whisk in a zigzag motion until frothy.
- Assemble the Latte:
- Add mashed strawberries to the bottom of a tall glass. Fill the glass halfway with ice. Pour in almond milk (or milk of choice) until about two-thirds full. Slowly pour the whisked matcha on top for a layered effect.
- Sweeten and Stir (Optional):
- Add maple syrup or honey to taste. Stir gently with a straw and enjoy!

For a vegan version, use plant-based milk and maple syrup. To save time, you can use 1 tablespoon of strawberry jam instead of fresh strawberries. Adjust the amount of matcha depending on your caffeine preference.
