- Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture.
- Fold in chocolate chips and Rice Krispies gently.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are golden and centers are set.
- Cool on tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes:
Do not overmix once the Rice Krispies are added to preserve crunch.
For even cookies, use a cookie scoop.
You can freeze the dough or baked cookies for later use.
