  • 2 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Method
 

  1. Instructions:
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and Rice Krispies gently.
  7. Scoop dough onto baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are golden and centers are set.
  9. Cool on tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes:
Do not overmix once the Rice Krispies are added to preserve crunch.
For even cookies, use a cookie scoop.
You can freeze the dough or baked cookies for later use.
