  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey + 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes for heat

Method

  6. Stir gently to coat all pieces evenly.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours or high for 1.5–2 hours.
  8. Optional: During the last 30 minutes, add BBQ sauce or your choice of flavor enhancer.
  9. Once fully cooked (internal temp of 165°F), serve whole or shred as desired.
