- Instructions:
- Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat.
- Add 2–3 kernels and cover. When they pop, add the rest of the kernels, shake to spread, and cover.
- Allow to pop, shaking the pot occasionally until popping slows to 2 seconds between pops.
- Transfer popcorn to a large bowl.
- Mix spices together in a small bowl.
- Drizzle a small amount of melted butter or oil over the popcorn to help the spices stick.
- Sprinkle the spice blend over the popcorn and toss well.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Enjoy fresh!

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Adjust the level of spice by reducing or increasing the cayenne pepper.
Air-popped popcorn works too — just toss with oil and spices afterward.
