- Instructions:
- Brew Ristretto Shots: Using your espresso machine, pull 2 ristretto shots (use about 14–18g of finely ground coffee and stop the shot early for a richer concentration).
- Steam the Milk: Pour cold whole milk into the frothing pitcher. Use the steam wand to texture the milk until it reaches about 150°F (65°C), forming a fine, silky microfoam.
- Swirl & Tap: Gently swirl the milk in the pitcher and tap it on the counter to remove any large bubbles.
- Pour Slowly: Begin pouring the steamed milk into the center of the espresso, maintaining a steady flow to mix the crema and milk. Finish with a small white dot or simple latte art.
Notes
Notes:
You can substitute Blonde Espresso for a milder flavor. Use oat milk for a creamy, non-dairy alternative that closely mimics the original. Want it iced? Brew the ristretto shots, pour over ice, and add cold, frothed milk instead of steamed milk.
