Method

  2. In a blender, puree the strawberries until smooth.
  3. Pour the strawberry puree through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher to remove seeds (optional).
  4. Add the fresh lemon juice and sugar to the pitcher. Stir well until the sugar dissolves.
  5. Pour in the cold water and stir to combine.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or water if needed.
  7. Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices and whole strawberries.

Notes:
You can use honey or agave syrup as a natural sweetener.
For a fizzy version, substitute half of the water with club soda.
For a stronger strawberry flavor, simmer the strawberries with sugar to create a syrup before blending.
Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
