- Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line your baking pan with parchment.
- Melt butter in the microwave or over a double boiler. Stir in cocoa powder, sugars, and mix until smooth.
- Add eggs, one at a time, then vanilla and salt. Whisk until the batter is shiny and slightly thickened.
- Fold in flour just until combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Stir in chocolate chips if using.
- Spread batter evenly in the pan.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares.

For extra fudgy brownies, use a slightly underbaked center and let cool thoroughly.
Add ½ tsp espresso powder for deeper chocolate flavor.
